Service Description

Designed to help participants reduce their social anxiety and improve their self-confidence in social settings. This program uses interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory, and mindfulness to address the core issues surrounding social anxiety. Participants practice social skills in the context of an empathetic group. Educational topics discussed include: 1. The neurobiology of anxiety 2. Early childhood experiences and their connection to anxiety 3. Fear and Avoidance Hierarchy 4. Cognitive Restructuring 5. Calming our Frantic Mind
